Pemerintah AS sekarang kian gencar meningkatkan penyelidikan tentang terkontaminasinya banyak produk makanan AS seperti cracker, cookies, coklat, es krim dengan kuman salmonela. Pelbagai upaya pengamanan dilakukan, diantaranya penarikan lebih 125 makanan yang mengandung selai kacang. Untuk membantu konsumen, Badan POM AS (Food and Drug Administration), telah mengumumkan pada websitenya daftar makanan yang ditarik tersebut. Mengingat ada kemungkinan makanan tersebut dijual di Indonesia, kami kutipkan data terbaru dari Daftar FDA tersebut.
